Terms and conditions: gift cards

1. General Use

Gift cards issued by Pursuit Athletic Centre may be redeemed for eligible training services, therapy services, or packages offered at the time of redemption. Gift cards have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash unless required by law. Gift cards can only be redeemed in person at Pursuit Athletic Centre and do not apply to any website purchases.

2. No Expiration on Monetary Value

Gift cards issued in Ontario do not expire and retain their monetary value indefinitely in accordance with provincial consumer protection laws.

3. Booking Requirements

All sessions must be booked in advance and are subject to coach or therapist availability. Possession of a gift card does not guarantee appointment availability.

4. Non-Refundable

All gift card purchases are final sale. Once purchased, cards cannot be refunded, returned, or exchanged.

5. Partial Redemptions & Balances

If the service chosen exceeds the value of the gift card, the remaining balance must be paid at the time of service. If the service costs less than the card value, the unused balance will remain on the card for future use.

6. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Cards

Pursuit Athletic Centre is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged cards. Treat gift cards like cash. Replacement is not guaranteed.

7. Transferability

Gift cards are transferrable unless otherwise stated on the card at the time of purchase.

8. Promotional Gift Cards & Offers

Any complimentary, promotional, or bonus gift cards issued as part of a marketing or seasonal promotion may include expiration dates and restrictions, which will be clearly disclosed at issuance.

9. Taxes

Applicable taxes may be charged at the time of service, depending on the type of session being redeemed (therapy vs. training).

10. Service Changes

PAC reserves the right to update or discontinue services, pricing, or staff availability at any time. If a service is discontinued, the card’s monetary value remains usable toward other offerings.

11. Fraud Prevention

Pursuit Athletic Centre reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or hold cards if fraud or unauthorized use is suspected.

12. Agreement to Terms

Use of this gift card constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions, which may be updated periodically. The most current version is always available on this webpage.
