8-Week Postpartum Fitness & Recovery Program for New Moms

Rebuild your strength, confidence, and core stability with Pursuit Athletic Centre’s 8-Week Postpartum Fitness Program — a specialized program for new moms returning to exercise. This evidence-based postpartum workout program focuses on pelvic floor recovery, core rehabilitation, and safe postpartum strength training so you can move, lift, and live confidently after birth.
Whether you’re recovering from a vaginal birth or C-section, our team supports you with a personalized, medically informed approach to postpartum mobility, and functional strength.
Duration: 8 Weeks
Schedule: Mondays & Wednesdays, 1:00–2:00 PM (option to do both days or one day per week)
Format: Small-group postpartum fitness classes
Location: Pursuit Athletic Centre, 80 Southgate Drive Guelph, ON
Cost: $200 (once a week classes) OR $400 (twice a week classes) + HST
Each session includes a blend of:
Guided pelvic floor exercises
Core strengthening and diastasis recti–safe training
Posture and breath mechanics
Functional strength training for daily movement
Mobility and stability work
Education for safe lifting, carrying, and returning to fitness
Everything is customized to your postpartum stage and recovery needs.

This 8-week postpartum fitness program is ideal for new moms who want to:
Safely return to exercise after pregnancy
Strengthen their core and pelvic floor
Address diastasis recti, pelvic pain, or low-back pain
Improve posture, mobility, and functional strength
Feel confident lifting baby, carrying car seats, and completing daily movements
Rebuild strength for gym workouts or sport
Join a supportive community of moms in a small-group setting
Work with a pelvic floor physiotherapist and postpartum fitness specialists
If you’re cleared for exercise by your healthcare provider, you’re ready to begin.
